Namaste!

My name is Natalie and I am the creator of The Wandering Buddha Yoga.

My yoga journey started around 4 years ago, when I decided to go on a yoga retreat in Cambodia in 2017. I was longing for peace, rest and relaxation, a break away from my busy life, and not only did I find peace, but I discovered that anybody, no matter what, can do yoga.

Having been bombarded with the western ideal of what a yogi should look like and achieve, I struggled to identify with the practice as I continued to work in a stressful job and fed into my ego state, where my self-worth was lacking.

Every time I came back to the practice (which was, honestly, sporadic at best!) I felt like I had arrived home. Without it, I didn’t know who I was, and I was searching for external validation, and searching for something to fulfill me. I knew that I wanted to go deeper into yoga and explore the infinite possibilities of self-acceptance and truly living a life of infinite joy and happiness.

So, in 2020, I disrupted my predictable, comfortable life and ended up at Sattva Yoga Academy in the Himalayas, about to begin a 500 hour yoga teacher training.

I had no preconceived idea of what to expect, but as soon as I began the course, I knew I was meant to be there.

This experience transformed my life. I was given the chance to delve into the mysticism of the yogic teachings at their place of creation, and I couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience. The integrative practice that is Sattva Yoga allowed me to uncover the most pure and magical parts of myself. Through the tears and the laughter, I began a path of healing, freeing myself from all self-imposed and societal limitations, to begin to live a life of endless abundance, authentic joy and consistent growth.

Yoga is not what we do, it is who we are. Authentic, dynamic, connected and compassionate.

The Wandering Buddha is a community where I hope to inspire you to begin your own path of healing and transformation. There is no judgement, only support, love and understanding. Through the practice of Sattva Yoga, I aspire to guide you in letting go of any self-sabotaging circles of uncertainty, judgement and lack of self-worth and to help you to see the masterpiece you truly are, no matter who you are or what you do.

I am so thankful for my guru Anandji and Sattva Yoga for guiding me on the path to true liberation and I am ready to share these special practices with you all.
